Dress Code

UNIFORM CODE

It is expected that all Post-16 students dress in accordance with business code. The student’s face, school tie and blouse/shirt must be clearly visible.

Girls:

• A plain, black, sweater or cardigan, with optional, school metal badge.

• Smart, plain black knee-length skirt or trousers.

• A smart, white/pale blue blouse, with top button fastening, to be worn with sixth form tie.

• One ring, one pair of small earrings may be worn.

• Smart flat or low-heeled black shoes (no higher than 4 cm).

• Plain tights

Boys:

• A plain, black, sweater or cardigan, with optional, school metal badge.

• Smart, plain black shoes.

• Smart, plain, black trousers.

• A plain blue or white shirt to be worn with sixth form tie. Shirts to be worn inside trousers.

What will not be acceptable:

Outdoor coats or scarves worn in the school building.
Boots, ugg boots or trainers.
Large ornamental belts or jewellery.
Jeans or tight fitting skirts or trousers.
Facial piercings.
Thin strapped vest tops over blouses.
Strappy or stiletto shoes.

The Sixth Form Management Team will use their discretion as to whether a student’s uniform is acceptable and complying with health and safety standards.
