Exam Information

Here you will find documents and links in the right hand panel to exam timetables and details.

Please note that for all external exams for students in year 10, 11, 12 and 13 you are only allowed to write with a black pen. Blue ink and biro is no longer being accepted by the exam boards.

Thanks.

Next term external examinations take place from the 10th January onwards. In the event of heavy snow in the region and the school being closed we will still attempt to open so that the students have the opportunity to sit their exams. Pupils should report to the exam venue as previously advised by 8:50am for a morning exam and 12:50pm for an afternoon session. Please be advised that if students arrive late beyond a particular point of time it may not be possible for them to take the examination. Students should not take any risk to their safety to get to school if the conditions are particularly bad either in the area where they live or around school. If a student misses or is late for an exam it is not possible for them to take it on another day in January. If an exam is missed due to the weather conditions a further entry will be made for the summer season and special consideration will be applied for. The fees for examinations missed in these circumstances will be paid for by the School.
