Study Facilities and Resources

The new 6th form Centre and our Technology College status provide the students with a wealth of resources to enhance advanced level study. At this level it is essential that students learn to study independently and develop research skills and students are encouraged to use the extensive resources available when they are not in lessons.

The 6th Form Learning Resource Centre is a place for study, research and for reading for pleasure in comfortable surroundings.
The library section has over 1,000 books in stock and periodicals, magazines and newspapers for reference.
In the IT section there are 60 computers available, with internet access, a scanner and colour printer.

Subject Area Resources are also available for students use, with permission. All areas have IT resources, subject related software, books and  periodicals which will enhance understanding and expand their depth of knowledge.
