ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
C Grade in English Language at GCSE

Aims:

enhance their enjoyment and appreciation of the media and its role in their daily lives

develop critical understanding of the media

explore production processes, technologies and other relevant contexts

become independent in research skills and their application in their production work

and in developing their own views and interpretations.

Unit 1 : Media Representations and Responses
Unit 2 : Media Production Processes
Unit 3 : Media Investigation and Production
Unit 4: Media: Text, Industry and Audience

ASSESSMENT:
Units 1 and 4 are examined.
Units 2 and 3 are coursework.
