MISSION STATEMENT

‘St Wilfrid’s Church of England High School and Technology College sees education as an integral part of the mission of the Church to proclaim God as Creator, Christ as Redeemer and the Holy Spirit as Inspirer of all that is good in human living.  The main purpose of the school is to provide an excellent education, both academic and social, in a Christian context, to enable its students to grow up to take their full part as citizens of this world and the next.

 POST 16 VISION STATEMENT

‘St Wilfrid’s 6th Form aims to develop students who achieve their full academic potential, by providing a high quality, personalised teaching and learning experience, which will inspire independent, lifelong learning.
Students are encouraged to develop the personal, social and intellectual skills, necessary to make a success of higher education and employment, in a safe, supported environment, where the spiritual ethos of the school is paramount.’
