Welcome to St. Wilfrid's 6th Form!

Dear Student

I do hope that you find the information on this website useful and you have a sense of excitement about our post 16 provision.

Our school offers you an opportunity to further your education in a Christian environment where you matter as a person.  The Sixth Form has become a popular option for our existing students and those from other schools, with the creation of our 6th form centre in 2009. 

Our Sixth Form provision offers you:

• a good student teacher ratio

• a distinctive uniform

• the opportunity to share in the management of the school: through active Community Service, the Head Student Team, the Sixth Form Council, the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, and as a senior prefect.

If you are from one of our partner schools within Blackburn Diocese or Blackburn with Darwen, I would like to assure you of the very warm welcome you will receive, especially from our student body.  You will very quickly feel integrated into the life of the school enabling you to focus on your academic studies and develop fully with us in the years to come.
