iPads and IT
To inspire confident, independent learners, every student at St Wilfrid’s will receive a school managed iPad to support their learning journey.
The iPad is a powerful tool that enhances classroom experiences and helps students take ownership of their learning. From interactive lessons to research and revision, students will use their device across subjects to deepen their understanding and develop essential digital skills. The iPad also makes it easier for students to stay organised, collaborate with peers and complete homework and revision.
Each device is set up and managed by the school to ensure all students have access to high-quality learning resources in a safe and structured environment. Internet access is filtered, and app use is carefully monitored during the school day to support positive and purposeful use.
We offer two different iPad for learning schemes this academic year. Students are able to purchase a device through a 36-month direct debit agreement totalling to £432. Students selecting this option will be supplied with a device, case, charger and apps used in the academy. Payments will be made through ‘GoCardless’ and direct debit payments will be charged on the last working day of each month. Full terms and conditions for this option can be found on the online options form which can be accessed via the link below.
