LRC

The Learning Resource Centre is open each day for students from 8:20am to 4:20pm and caters for a variety of study needs. Students have access to the LRC as a workspace before school, break time, lunch time and after school. 

The following facilities are available within the LRC: 

• Library – a large selection of both fiction and non-fiction books, magazines, graphic novels and audio books. 
• ‍Study Area – for quiet reading, coursework and homework. 
• ‍ICT Suite – with 31 classroom computers available for homework and coursework. 
• ‍‍Interactive Area – for intervention lessons, small class lessons and presentations. 

The following clubs and events take place in the LRC across the year: 

• Homework Club – this is available to students every day between 3:20-4:20pm. Staff are available to support with homework and helping to organise student workload. 
• Book Club – students can sign up to our book club, run throughout the year by our librarian. 
• Scholastic Book Fair – the LRC hosts a book fair in November and March, where students can purchase books and stationery.
