World Book Day 2026

All students are invited to dress up for World Book Day on Thursday 5th March 2026. You may choose to come as either an adjective or a book character.

If you would like to take part, you must sign up in the library by the 28th February. On the day, please come to the library before going to form so you can be registered. We ask that you bring either a book to donate to the Children’s Book Project or £1.

Please ensure it is clear what you are dressed as (for example, by wearing a sign or name tag) and that your outfit is appropriate for school - nothing too short, low-cut, or cropped. Students who are not dressed appropriately will be placed in isolation until a parent/carer brings in school uniform or a change of clothes. Please see Firefly for examples.
