Mr Grime's Rising Reading Stars

At the heart of our curriculum is a desire for every student to become a confident, lifelong reader. To support this, all Year 8 students enjoy a fortnightly library lesson, giving them time to immerse themselves in a great story.

To keep students motivated, our English department is running a Reading General reward scheme. After finishing a book, students take a short quiz and rise through the ranks as they pass.

We are excited to announce two 4-star reading generals, who have read over 80 books since September - a huge well done to them both!
